Client: C & M Roofing & Builders Bradford
Services: Provision of full CDM/Construction Management Service
Cost: £ 2 million
Grade 1 listed building held role of Senior CDM C advised, managed design/ construction teams Project involved replacing Victorian coal fired boiler and associated heating system with modern bio- mass boiler/ bio mass fuel store specialist competencies included:
Asbestos management
Work in occupied premises
Confined space working
Contractor sourcing and managing
Project involved gaining safe access to work safely at heights of up to 60 metres (60) above ground level to carry out full roof refurbishment including listed building masonry chimneys ornamental listed sheet Lead roof work all work carried out with Council staff occupying building working normally. Specialist competencies included:
Work at height (sourced and managed competent scaffolding contractor)
Working alongside members of the public
Asbestos management
Construction manual handling at height
Contractor sourcing and managing
